Cello Shots SS Picks up Seventh & Eighth National Titles at the 2021 U.S. Nationals

October 29, 2021 – The black beauty, Cello Shots SS, raked in an impressive two more U.S. National Top Ten titles at this year's U.S. National Championships, both with Carolyn Lesley aboard: U.S. National Top Ten in HA/AA \Western Pleasure AAOTR 40 – 59 and a U.S. National Top Ten in the ABS HA/AA Western Pleasure AAOTR Jackpot.

With these two titles, the Monticello V son has now amassed an impressive total of eight national titles thus far in his young five-year career.

Cello Shots SS & Carolyn Lesley named 2020 U.S. National Champions

October 31, 2020 – Monticello V congratulates his beautiful, black son, Cello Shots SS, and Carolyn Lesley on yet another national title, this time in the Amateur division with owner Carolyn Lesley.

Additionally, another black son of Monticello V, Hendrixx WB, was named U.S. National Champion AWPA $100,000 Futurity just a few classes later.

Monticello V Progeny Clean up at U.S. Nationals 2019 in Tulsa; Crown Juell Closes Year With a Bang

October 30, 2019 – We are so proud of Monticello V’s numerous winning progeny in Tulsa. Check out these incredible Monticello V Stats in Tulsa:

- Four out of the six Monticello progeny shown in Tulsa were Top Ten or better. They racked up an impressive 4 Top Ten’s 1 Reserve Championship and 3 National Championships.

- Monticello progeny made up 20% of the top ten finalists in the most lucrative class of the show, the Arabian Horse World AWPA $100,000 Western Pl Futurity. (And one of them, Hendrixx WB, won it.) Monticello V was also the only sire to claim more than one progeny in the Top Ten

- Good odds: Out of only NINE progeny by Monticello V in 2015, TWO of them were named Top Ten of the 2019 AWPA $100,000 Western Pl Futurity… and one of them won it.

Lesley Farms & Monticello V Leave Their Marks at the 2018 U.S. Nationals

October 30, 2018 – The impact of Lesley Farms – along with its head stallion, Monticello V – was deeply felt at the 2018 U.S. National Arabian & Half-Arabian Championship Show in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Five out of six Monticello V progeny dominated in the western pleasure divisions. In fact, three out of the Top Ten horses in the Western Pleasure Futurity were by Monticello V, and two of the Top Ten horses in its Half-Arabian counterpart were by Monticello V! Lesley Farms would like to congratulate the winning connections of these outstanding Cello progeny:
